Post by Jester on Fri Jan 11, 2008 7:00 pm

Damn people that live in Europe!!!! And the ones that live near popuar venues up north in the states!!!!!!

hahaha...my list is comprised of alot of not-so-known bands, so I'll only post the big ones. No order...and I'll probs forget some

-Dragonforce
-Between the Buried & Me
-As I Lay Dying
-Haste the Day
-Jupiter Sunrise
-Underoath (*2)
-Emery
-As Cities Burn
-NOFX
-The Toasters
-Pennywise
-Killswitch Engage
-Throwdown
-Big D & The Kids Table!!!!!!!!!!
-(A bunch of shitty core bands)
-Chiodos
-Bad Religion
-The Human Abstract (*3)
-(A bunch of popular core bands)
-Parkway Drive

I'm sure I forgot some. Some of those are from Warped Tour.

Most of the others, I had to drive to ATL or Tallahassee to see, since only shitty and popular core bands (and not Grindcore) come to my town, because we have a pretty big "M3t4L" scene.

Thanks for the pts drunken S.O.D. was the SEOD tour, mid 80's. early 90's for M.O.D., Gross Misconduct time frame anyway. Did quite a few Punk type gigs from 83-93... Rollins, Dayglo etc. Pretty fun stuff. (Not that these are punk, but it got me thinking...)

Re: Bands seen live.

Post by Tallant on Fri Jan 11, 2008 11:00 pm

There's a lot to list.

One's I've seen because my parents brought me along when I was little, though I did enjoy them:
- Van Halen
- Steve Miller Band (multiple times)
- Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers (multiple times)
- Chicago (multiple times)
- Lynyrd Skynyrd (multiple times)
- Aerosmith (multiple times)

I know there's a lot more, but I was too young to really remember much from it.

In the past few years, I've seen a good amount live that I chose to go see, I know I'll miss a bunch, but:
- Senses Fail (3x)
- Underoath (2x)
- Taking Back Sunday
- Atreyu
- Funeral For A Friend (2x)
- Saosin
- Circa Survive
- Protest The Hero
- Killswitch Engage
- A Static Lullaby (2x)
- My Chemical Romance
- Dropkick Murphys
- The Used
- HORSE The Band
- Between The Buried And Me (3x)
- The Dillinger Escape Plan
- Flashbulb
- The Red Chord
- Cephalic Carnage
- The End
- Every Time I Die
- Haste The Day
- Bleeding Through
- Yesterday's Rising
- Alexisonfire

I've been to the last 3 Warped Tours, mainly because it's kind of a tradition with one of my oldest and best friends. He's in his second year of college now, and the first one we saw we went together, and then he moved to Florida for college (UCF). Now when he comes back in the summer, we go so we get to hang out and make up for all the time missed and see some good bands (though the bands keep getting worse each year), so it's a good thing. I've seen a shitload more than what I listed because of Warped, but I can't really remember them right now, mostly because I accidentally saw them, didn't really care that much.
