"hello all!
We had a good meeting with nuclear blast while some of them were in Finnish metal expo last weekend.
also our manager was doing work for this situation that we faced with the computer.
So we will make the radical change now and got enough money to buy
another computer and it is a mac type of computer and should have
enough power to make this project to an end and help us finish with the
orchestrations.
We really had a nice chat with nb and i played some unfinished clips for them and they liked it a lot.
So we hope that finally we can continue working in a much better
way and also this helps us in the future to avoid this same drama like
it has been.
So all the thanks to our manager Stefan and Andy from nb to get things rolling.
Now we got some good offers from Finnish mac distributors and in a couple of days there should be a new mac to be ordered.
it will take a couple of weeks to arrive after ordering and then
itīs a lot of work to jari to transfer all the files and all other
stuff that we need to continue working..
We are very happy that we didnīt have to go some other road and try
to make it all work with the gear we had but still it will be a mystery
how things work out with this computer.
But we will let you know immediately what going on..
thank you all for your patience and talk to you soon!
all the best

I am really looking forward to this album, and had been increasingly dismayed with each set back. But finally things seem to be looking up, if Time lives up to expectations, it should be a fucking spectacular album. Some people, I think are having doubts as to how good the album will be, but Jari has his sights set on a masterpiece and so would not let anything less than such to be released, especially after all the trouble he has had in trying to get the album from his head to our ears.

Re: Wintersun
Wintersun's first album was so damn good. But I too am dismayed with all the set backs. Makes me worried that he might be overthinking the music. Sometimes that is a bad thing. :S

Re: Wintersun
It may be that he is over thinging, but he has also said that his current computer just was not able to handle what he wanted to do...which lead to some delays, not to mention the studio that they were meant to be using being booked up

Re: Wintersun
GREAT news!!!
I have been reading about all this on the Wintersun Forum and was going to donate but they said it was a bad idea......it's great they now have more money and now they can finish this masterpiece called Time.
Wintersun's debut changed my life and is my favorite album and Wintersun is my favorite band of all time......the music is just amazing
Can't wait for this, my most anticipated album of 2008.....and possibly a US tour
