You can listen to new Bloodbath samples here: http://peaceville.com/bloodbath/
Sounds great, Mikael sounds more brutal then ever.

Why do I believe more people will be buying Super Smash Bros. Brawl rather than the new Bloodbath?

Because that is exactly, 100% true.

Re: Albums for 08
The Magnetic Fields put out a new album called Distortion. It's kinda strange... The usual melodic quirky pop but with an extra layer of noise (hence the title Distortion). As Stephin Merritt explained, they wanted the album to "sound more like Jesus and Mary Chain than Jesus and Mary Chain".
Not a bad album but they've done waaay better ones.

lol "contagious uber brutal death metal"
why does everyone use that "egyptian" (not the best description for it in some cases) sounding:
duh neh deh nuh neh nuh nuh neh
riff? do you guys know what im talking about? i might have to find this one for a few friends though

Re: Albums for 08
I have no idea but riff structures are often similar in metal music. And Egyptian themes is "cool" after Nile and Behemoth overused it.
Re: Albums for 08
The only reason why that is true is because the new Bloodbath release will only have a limited amount of copiesLordHangnail wrote:Pedro wrote:Why do I believe more people will be buying Super Smash Bros. Brawl rather than the new Bloodbath?

And there is a new Belphegor album coming. The title is "Bondage Goat Zombie", with an album title like that the album must be amazing.

No, it would out sell Bloodbath even if the album wasn't limited. It's one of the most popular video game series of all time. I personally hate it, but I imagine my opinion won't persuade every Wii-owning 13 year old to not purchase the game.

I'm quite good in Melee, so I think I'll be good in Brawl. =D

Re: Albums for 08
The only Gamecube game I ever really loved was Resident Evil 4. That is probably my favorite game...ever.
Re: Albums for 08
Ah, so it's a videogame. That might explain why I had no idea what you guys were talking about.

Good news for Everlost and myself:
The next Mirrorthrone album is nearly out! It is entitled "Gangrene" and features six songs for over one hour of music. You can already view the album cover and read the lyrics in the sections 3 and 4. Sound samples and the official release date will come soon. Expect that in the coming days. |

Baby Dee's new album Safe Inside The Day is pretty good... She's a strange transvestite harpist/singer etc. Worked with Current 93.

Aah, nice. I also heard rumors about a new Lifelover album somewhere in the beginning of this year. Should be awesome.

Which ones are you talking about? I have fairly big hopes for quite a few of them. Mainly the Post-Rock ones and some of the BM ones.

Re: Albums for 08
New Kaki King album is fucking amazing.
Porcupine Tree released a live acoustic album which is also fucking amazing.
New Flametal album is solid.
New Byzantine album is also solid, need to listen more though.
The new A Silver Mt. Zion album is gloriously awesome.
And Protest The Hero and The Mars Volta are still the two best of the year so far, PTH being number 1. Goddamn those are good albums.

Re: Albums for 08
I didnt really like the new Mars Volta, but i havent liked anything since Deloused. For me they've gone too proggy, and sometimes it seems like its forced. Although the new one has been the best album since Deloused, i just cant get into them anymore.
