Re: Bands seen live.
My list would be rather unimpressive, since I never really had people to go to good shows. But well, to give it a shot:
65daysofstatic
After Forever
Carnal Leftovers
Delain
Dream Theater
Epica
Heidevolk
Kivemetsan Druidi
Korpiklaani
Mala Vita
Nemesea
Norther
Peter Pan Speedrock
See My Solution
Seraphique
Serj Tankian
Spinvis (3x)
Symphony X
Turisas (2x)
Wolves in the Throne Room
And things I forgot.
And quite many local thingies I can't remember or nobody would know anyway. And also many non-metal things at free festivals.
Hopefully this list will grow a lot after visiting Wacken 2008.

Re: Bands seen live.
My favorites from my list had been Therion and Apocalyptica, they play live serious shit, Therion is awesome with all the sopranos singers, their cloths and performance on stage, that time Matt Leven jumped to the crowd

I know they don't know how good they have it!
Ok the first couple are not metal and the first one is very embarressing.......and I will post all that I remember...I may forget some
And keep in mind, I haven't been to many shows since I've only liked metal since August 2005
N'SYNC (I was 6!.....and girls screaming made me leave lol)
Linkin Park
System of a Down
blink-182 (one of the best shows ever, 1 year b4 hiatus)
Shadows Fall (first metal concert)
Bullet for My Valentine
Dragonforce
Rush
All That Remains
Silverstein
blessthefall
Endwell
Across Five Aprils
War of Ages
With Blood Comes Cleansing
Dimmu Borgir
Kataklysm
Unearth
Necrophagist
Decapitated
As Blood Runs Black
Arsis (twice)
Beneath the Massacre
Arch Enemy
Cannibal Corpse
The Black Dahlia Murder
Goatwhore
The Absence
Amon Amarth
Enslaved
And those aren't all.....there were some local shows and I only listed the bands I liked from the tours......also some were on the same tour.....I haven't been to that many shows in 2 and 1/2 years lol (maybe 25-30)

Oh yeah. I've met them all too. My friend has a picture of herself with the singer's bizzare animal head on her head. It's quite nifty.

I hope Ensiferum changes the setlist for Paganfest USA though
They're not even playing classics like Hero in a Dream, Windrider, or Old Man
They better play AT LEAST one of those in ATL
