Blood Freak's new one is on my anticipation list

I need to start make a list of all 2008 albums that sound interesting. OTherwise I might forget to buy/download them.

So, the new In Flames is done and is called "A Sense Of Purpose", it will be released in April. Should be leaked soon if it will be leaked as fast as the former album.
I'm actually really curious to this one, since Come Clarity was rather enjoyable. I hope they'll make another step in the right direction.

Edit: Does anybody knows a good site with a list of upcoming albums? I only know Metal Storm and it only lists more wellknown albums. I would like to get some more underground (or just lesser known) stuff and other genres (mainly post-rock) as well.

I only know metalarea.org

The forums are where a lot of new stuff leak. But theres no PR there.

Oh well, looks good anyway.

And Parabstruse will make a new album which will hopefully be released this year. It's a great one-man project with mainly post-rock music but also quite some metal influences. The vocals on the first demo are even growled. Really good stuff.

Edit: listening now, and I have to say it's way better then TDUU. I don't listen to this kind of stuff that much anymore but I find this really enjoyable. Good thing the drums improved.

Edit 2: Just found out the new Dark Fortress leaked, let's give that one a listen soon.

I liked the new album N. They really went main stream though. It's definitely different for the Norther boys, but there are some awesome songs on it.

There is one song that sounds like a really heavy Static-X I though. Can't remember though which one it is. I'll have to re listen to it.

Death By Stereo's last album was in 2005, and they said they went into the studio to record their next album way back in March of 2007. So it should be due sometime soon hopefully. There's no more detail than that on wikipedia.

Hmm...I haven't listened to Death By Stereo in awhile.

Death Angel has released a song on their myspace from their new album. sounds promising.

Hasn't been annouced yet, but I'd love for Borknagar to get back together and do a new cd. Probably wont happen since Vintersorg just came out with a solo one sometime last year. But I can hope

So the new In Flames album has a tracklisting and cover-art. I really hoped they took another step up after CC, but now most of my hopes are gone.

The previews on their myspace sound pretty cool.

I really dont like mediaportal. You've just gotta wade through so much crap to get the occasional good album. Plus they overload with melodic death and black albums and i hate those two genres.
