Ohh. okay. Thought you didn't like black metal.

But, while this won't be an '08 release, I'll throw it in anyway:

Some ideas have been recorded, and the frames for 6-7 songs are ready.
We will continue working on the new material during the winter, and
hopefully we will start the recordings during the summer. Our plan is
an early 2009 release, but we will let you know as things develop. My
impression so far is that this will a blacker & more atmospheric
album, but it will definitively be build on the foundation that we have
made with our previous 3 albums.

I hope they won't experiment too much with their sound. I quite like I Krig.

Ahhh holy shit! A Silver Mt. Zion has a new album coming out in March but it's already leaked. I didn't even know there would be more material from them! 4 songs, the shortest one is over 13 minutes long, I'm unzipping it now, can't wait! Could be a top 10 album of 2008 easily.

Dantalion's surely my pick of the lot. Well...its one of my best listens of 2008 so far, possibly along with the Warbringer album. Hmm...have you got the new Isole? Its a nice album. Also, I heard Paganus is good.

I haven't d/l'ed any versions of the new TWDY because of the whole crappy version thing yet, so no. If I do, I'll let you know though, I've been looking forward to their new album.

@Evil Scientist
It's awesome, could be their best yet. It's probably their heaviest release yet, it almost borders on Progressive Rock at some points. It's just plain awesome though.

For some reason i had a good feeling about Dantalion. And im really not into the traditional side of doom so i probably wont be checking out the new Isole.

That might explain why I hated the sound by times. It was cracking all the time.

Just found out that Monolithe are almost finished recording their new album, which is to be appropriately titled 'Monolithe III'. Just vocals need to be done and the band is hoping for a March release. Though thats probably a bit optimistic.

Cant wait for this one!!!

It leaked on the 22nd, Vagrant keeps a tight ship on their albums, they don't leak for a long time. It officially comes out the 29th, along with the new Mars Volta album (which leaked a week or two ago), and I am officially buying both on their release dates, not downloading either. I haven't really done that for many highly anticipated albums since I've discovered the magic of the interwebz, so I'm hoping it increases the enjoyment of finally hearing both.

Ugh, it's so hard not to download them, especially when I've had at least 3 people already send me the link for the new PTH, and another for the new TMV. Hopefully it'll be worth it. Smile

Jester says it made him cum in his pants, so you really haven't added much more pressure than that. Smile

Also +10 "Ryan Thinks You're Awesome Points" for the two quotes in your signature. Big Gaffigan, bigger Hedberg fan.
